NutrientMAXX is a nutrition information app for fast-food chains and restaurants, developed by Health Optimized Works LLC. We are committed to transparency about how we handle your data. This policy applies to all users of the app, including guest users and registered account holders.

Data We Collect

NutrientMAXX can be used as a guest without creating an account. If you choose to create an account, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Your first name and email address, provided during sign-up.
• Meal history: Records of food items you add to the meal calculator, used to power your meal history and activity heatmap features.
• Saved meals: Meal combinations you choose to save within the app.
• Subscription status: Whether you have an active NutrientMAXX Pro subscription, managed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat.
• Chat usage: The number of AI chat messages you have sent, used to enforce daily usage limits.

Data Stored Locally

The app may store data locally on your device (such as onboarding completion, last viewed screen, and guest mode usage counts) to improve your experience. This data stays on your device and is not shared with us.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide and improve the NutrientMAXX experience. Specifically:

• Your email and name are used to identify your account and enable sign-in.
• Meal history is used to display your personal activity heatmap and stats.
• Subscription status is used to determine which features you have access to.
• Chat usage counts are used to enforce fair usage limits across subscription tiers.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

NutrientMAXX uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase: Secure cloud database and authentication provider. Stores your account information, meal history, and saved meals.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management platform. Handles in-app purchase verification and subscription status tracking through Apple's App Store.
• Anthropic (Claude API): Powers the AI nutrition chatbot feature. Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this data.

These services are used solely to operate the app and are not permitted to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

Subscriptions

NutrientMAXX Pro is an auto-renewable subscription available on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. Health Optimized Works LLC does not store or have access to your payment information. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

Users of All Ages

NutrientMAXX is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@healthoptimizedworks.com and we will promptly delete it.

Data Retention

Your account data and meal history are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@healthoptimizedworks.com.

Nutrition Data

Nutrition information comes from publicly available sources and restaurant disclosures. Data may vary by location and menu changes. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee completeness. Always verify with the restaurant when nutrition information is important for your health.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
